Note, that all files do not have any version numbers in their names, so check the version number given in the file itself to see if you need to load new version, or simply get all of them every time.
For some programs there is also windows command line executables that you can use if you do not want to install perl on your windows machine. Those are quite big (around 1.8MB each), and they seem to start slowly, so if you plan to do anything real work with the tools, better install perl. Those might not also be updated that often as the perl versions.
These files include all the files below in 3 tar files. The first one contains all the modules (perllib). The next file includes all the generic perl scripts using those modules, and the last file includes specific tools.
There are some modules which are needed by the tools:
The gffprint prints out the gff files, and gffmatch, which can be used to match gffs in various ways. The gffcmp can be used to check if two files are identical. Gffencode takes the output of gffprint -t (-b) and writes converts the text representation back to the gff. Gffmodify takes similar arguments than gffmatch, but also allows making modifications to the files (i.e change the value of field inside the struct).
The erfunpack and erfpack programs unpack and pack the erf or mod files.
The keyprint will print the contents of the key file, and the keyunpack will find the files from the key files, and then unpack the files from the bif files. tlkprint will print the contents of the dialog.tlk file.
The trnpack and trnunpack will allow packing and unpacking trn, trx or mdb file to individual resources. trnprint will allow printing of the contents of those resources.
This section contains the specific tools for some purpose.

$ ./add-onopen.pl *.git
$ ./fix-merchants.pl modules/temp0
This section contains the specific tools for cerea 2. Most of these are not useful in general, or not even usable as such, but they might give ideas and tips what you can do and how you can do things.
